2)  "Kids Gotta Tri" recap

• Approximately 130 kids participated and at least 10 T2 members volunteered
• Discussed the possibility of  T2 follow-up with the kids who participated, perhaps a postcard and ice cream social
• Stefano will find out if  John will let us send something to the participants
• Teresa will ask Sheridan's for ice cream coupons
• Tentatively considering Sunday, Sept. 27

3)  Status of 2009/10 membership dues collection

• Awaiting answer for online membership application from John
• Update from Beth: currently approximately 52 members, 8 members have renewed
• Stefano will update the email list and send to officers and board members

4)  2010 Tinman plans

SCPR is asking for early selection of race director

Discussed potential conflict with Lawrence race day and/or Father's Day

Leslie is heading up plans, Willie also expressed interest/willingness to participate

Next step, waiting for proposal

5)  Uniforms

• Discussed concerns about the CCN design being too much like the design created by Primal
• Teresa will give CCN additional direction for changes and provide a file in the correct format

6)  Opportunity to promote T2 at YMCA Health Fair

• To be held at SW YMCA on Sat, Sept. 19 from 9:00 am to noon
• Discussed T2 having a booth
• Dover “free for all” is that morning, run to Dover & back sponsored by GPRC
• The T2 social is planned for that afternoon
• Perhaps Jim could do a compu-trainer demo or perhaps have 2+ trainers and race
• Beth will find out if Capp's is going to have a booth
• Suggested that perhaps T2 could have a booth between Capp's and GPR
• T2 doesn't have a banner for a booth but Teresa will provide a high resolution PDF file of the T2 poster for printing that Mike may be able to print

7)  Social event on Sat, Sept. 19

• Try to use same place as last summer but we prefer less wind this year
• Swap meet was suggested
• Everyone will bring his or her own food to grill and a side to share
• Stefano has charcoal leftover from last year
• T2 will provide plates, silverware, napkins, cups, ice
• Teresa will create a flyer and mail it
• Barbeque will start at 4 pm

8)  Plans for the remainder of the year

• Oct Rebound workshop

• Dec Christmas party, tentatively Thurs, Dec. 3

9) New Business

• Teresa mentioned that a cyclist recently hit by car on Wanamaker
• How can T2 help get the word out?
• Perhaps coordinate with KVBC, Driver's Ed and Defensive Driver training
• Put it on agenda for next time to continue discussion
