1.     T2 Website Demonstration

• Website is up and running and very well received.
• T2 website already in #2 position, if "Topeka Triathlon Club" is being searched on Google!
• Obtained banner advertising (creative attached) placement on Topeka Tinman Triathlon (already up) and Sunflower Striders websites (up soon).
• Before mailing out an announcement, a couple of additions still need to be made, primarily around the 2009 calendar (T2 Events and Races)
• Need to establish firm assignments on who will be the point person for web updates:

• Leon to upload new photos and keep photo library updated.  Eric to confirm with Leon that he is still ready to do this.
• Leslie to keep the "Races" calendar updated.
• Mike in charge of T2 eNewsletter (in development).
• Eric will be the point person to receive and consolidate all race results from members who want to submit.  "Results" submenu to be created under "Races".
  

• John to prepare layman-proof "How-To Manual" for assigned T2 members to guide them through web update process
• John will be reimbursed for all his out-of-pocket expenses, to date around $130 for eTeamz
• John to add "Sign Up" button on various pages on website to allow members and nonmembers to sign up for eNewsletter
• Stefano to provide T2 October BBQ photos for photo library

2.    T2 t-shirts/uniforms

• Eric coordinated and received 30+ orders for t-shirts (more than anticipated)
• Order will be placed through GPRC
• Approx. cost per shirt:  $11-12
• Eric to provide availability date for t-shirts no later than at next Board meeting

3.    Triathlon Discussion Panel

• Received commitment from Chris Hess, coach, triathlete, time trialist from Lawrence to be speaker on 2/19
• Topic to be confirmed:  will be around cycling and impact of aerodynamics on results
• Event will be held at and in cooperation with Capp's Bike Shop
• Chris Armstrong is very excited, will provide latest cycling equipment review with focus on aerodynamics
• Evening discount for attendees TBD
• EnduraCamp owners Ben Schloegel and Ken Welsh plus Kansas 70.3 Race Director have agreed to come for a broader triathlon panel discussion to Topeka.  Date TBD.

4.    Swim Clinic on 3/19

• Need confirmation of all event details (location, coach, available lanes etc.) from Mike no later than next Board meeting

What else happened since Board meeting?

• Received great feedback from Gary Holliday about T2 Sponsorship Guidelines.  Has been incorporated and will be updated on website.
• Jim Edwards agreed to let us add "Bike Fitting" services provided by him under Resources.  Jim will provide flier, which defines his professional service and terms (similar to existing Paul Monroe flier).
• T2 was featured in Sunflower Striders December Newsletter (p. 7) http://www.sunflowerstriders.org/resources/newsletters
• Still waiting for creative proposal for permanent T2 poster from Lawson Phillips, Topeka-based creative designer.  Poster to be distributed by Board/members in high traffic locations across town.
