This "newbies" clinic is for athletes that are going into their first or second season and are looking to make their experience the best one possible.

The Beginner's Clinic will held at the site of the new Kansas City Olympic Distance Triathlon and led by Kansas City's Triathlon Coach Ken Welsh and KC's Professional Triathlete Ben Schloegel along with other helpful staff members.
Participants in the EnduraCamps Beginner's Clinic will receive instruction and practical training in all areas of triathlon including:
- Open Water Swimming - sighting techniques, dealing with other swimmers
- Cycling as a Triathlete - bike handling skills and practice, pacing, USAT Rules & Regulations, equipment basics
- Running Off the Bike - techniques for an effective run
- Transitions - swim to bike and bike to run tricks.
Registration for the Beginner's Clinic will be available early in 2009. The cost of the Kansas City Triathlon Beginners Camp is $69.00.
